One of the benefits of Zippity products is they are conveniently packaged into boxes that can be shipped via FedEx and delivered right to your doorstep. FedEx Home Delivery is our exclusive carrier and method for most orders.
However, with larger orders (typically 10 or more boxes), shipping via FedEx becomes inefficient for a few reasons. There is more susceptibility to boxes being damaged and shipments often get separated. In most cases, we can also give you a volume discount on largers orders that ship via motor freight. Motor freight does require a delivery appointment, so the trucking company will call you ahead of time to schedule an appointment. A large truck will deliver your palletized boxes to the end of your driveway.
While it can seem intimidating to have a big truck pull up to your home, this is a very common practice for larger home deliveries. There are a few things you need to be aware of with motor freight shipping, and a friendly Zippity customer support representative will call you ahead of time to give you all the details to help ensure a smooth transaction.
We ship virtually all shipments within 1-3 business days, and transit time can vary by state (view this chart for motor freight shipment transit times). All transit times are ESTIMATED and are not guaranteed. The day it leaves our warehouse and weekends and holidays do not count as days in the estimated transit time.
