Step 2: Assemble Fence Frame

Step 2.1 Step 2.1 — identify Top Rail (D) and Bottom Rail (E)

Step 2.1 — correct Rail End Cap (B) orientation

  • Identify Top Rail (D) (picket holes on top and bottom) and Bottom Rail (E) (picket holes facing up).
  • Insert (2) loose Rail End Caps (B) into each rail as illustrated.

Step 2.2 Step 2.2 — orient Posts (G) and slide down Top Rail (D)

Step 2.2 — drive screws (I) into pre-drilled holes

  • Orient (2) Posts (G) as shown.
  • Slide the Top Rail (D) down the posts, aligning the pre-drilled holes.
  • Drive (4) ¾" Self-Drilling Stainless Steel Screws (I) into the pre-drilled holes.

Step 2.3

Step 2.3 — slide Bottom Rail (E) down posts

Step 2.3 — secure Bottom Rail (E) with screws (I)

  • Slide the Bottom Rail (E) down the posts until the pre-drilled holes align.
  • Drive (4) ¾" Self-Drilling Stainless Steel Screws (I) into the holes.

Step 3: Insert the Pickets

Step 3.1 — rotate frame with post tabs facing up

Step 3.1 — insert 13 Pickets (F) into top and bottom rails

  • Rotate the fence frame so that the post tabs are facing up.
  • Insert (13) Pickets (F) into the picket holes in the top and bottom rails.

Step 4: Attach the Feet

Step 4.1 Indoor Applications Only

Step 4.1 — identify Portable Feet (C)

1. Identify the Portable Feet (C).

Step 4.1 — attach No-Scratch Pads (K) to ends of feet

2. Peel the backing off each Silicone No-Scratch Pad (K) and attach one to each far end on the underside of both feet.

Step 4.1 — correct vs. incorrect foot orientation

3. Ensure feet are oriented right-side up as shown.

Step 4.2A – Corner/Angled Application

Step 4.2A — slide first foot's notched end into bottom rail

1. Slide the notched end of a portable foot into the underside of the bottom rail.

Step 4.2A — position foot 4½" from post, drive 2 screws

2. Position the foot at least 4½" from the edge of the post. Drive (2) 1½" Self-Drilling Stainless Steel Screws (J) through the pre-drilled holes in the underside of the foot.

Step 4.2A — slide second foot's notched end into rail

3. Slide the notched end of the second portable foot into the underside of the rail.

Step 4.2A — slide foot to post, drive 1 screw into side

4. Slide the foot until it touches the post and drive (1) 1½" Self-Drilling Stainless Steel Screw (J) into the pre-drilled hole in the side of the foot.

Step 4.2B – In-Line Application

Step 4.2B — slide foot to post, drive screw into side

Step 4.2B — repeat on opposite side of fence panel

  • Slide the notched end of a portable foot under the bottom rail until it touches the side of the post.
  • Drive (1) 1½" Self-Drilling Stainless Steel Screw (J) into the pre-drilled hole in the side of the foot.
  • Repeat on the other side of the fence panel.

Step 5: Assemble Second Fence Panel

Step 5 — two completed panels ready to connect

Step 6: Connect the Panels

Connect the fence panels using Connector Pins (H) —compatible with straight-line or corner configurations

Step 6 — connect panels with Connector Pins (H), inline

Step 6 — connect panels with Connector Pins (H), corner

Step 7: Attach Post Caps

Step 7 — press Post Caps (A) onto all four post tops

Press a Post Cap (A) onto each post top until it snaps into place.

Step 8: Secure Panels (Optional)

Step 8 — drive rebar stake through portable foot holes

Step 8 — zip tie or cotter pin through Connector Pin (H)

  • To more permanently secure your portable fence:
    • On grass: drive a ½" diameter rebar stake (not included) into the two holes in each portable foot.
    • Any configuration: thread a zip tie or cotter pin (not included) through the holes in each Connector Pin (H) to prevent removal
